The Ministries of ELCC

Enjoy the ministry of people loving people in cell groups throughout the greater East Lansing area. We meet to worship, pray, study, and share openly about our lives in Christ. Our motive is to reach a lost world with the good news that Jesus is Lord.
Each cell affirms the intergenerational teaching of our children. Children are welcome in the worship and sharing portion of the cell meeting, then are ministered to in a specially prepared "Kid's Slot." Worshipping with our children as they often play instruments is one of the great blessings.
Beyond the actual cell meeting, we strive to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of the cell members. We set strategies to reach out. Through socials, felt need events, and especially one-on-one relationships we are compelled to be salt in a tasteless world. In a word, the cell is the church.

You can attend a cell by calling one of our cell leaders:

As the church meets in homes throughout the week, we come together once a week to celebrate what God is doing in our lives corporately. Through a contemporary style worship setting, we love to worship the Lord with all our hearts. Whether it is American or International students from Michigan State University, or "long-termers" from the community, we love to worship with diversity. We are a multi-cultural congregation, and we love the beautiful mosaic God is fashioning among us.

We have a full program for the youth outside of our home cell structure.
They meet weekly, and are involved in various extracurricular activities.

We believe that prayer moves the church. It is the life of the church.
It is the church. We have Concerts of Prayer once a month on a Friday night for 3-5 hours.
We come together to ask God to fashion our hearts to His.
We also encourage the church to fast and pray every Thursday.
We have a prayer team that prays during each of our celebration services.
We know that the church cannot survive without prayer.
